Palanpur Food Festival at Tuskers

Celebrating the tranquility and serenity of Palanpur, the hotel will serve the most palatable culinary delights of Gujarat at its vegetarian dinning and bar – Tuskers. The guests can relish the special menu that will include delicious appetizers ranging from Vatana Na Ghugra, Moghar Dal Ki Kachori to Methi Ni Bhaji accompanied by Pudina and Amli chutney. The lavish main course spread will see Papad Methi nu Shaak, Sev Tamatr Nu Shaahk, Jaiselmer Ne Chane and more coupled with Bhakari, Bhaat Na Ghagada, Trevathi Dal, Kanki Nu Khichu and more. Indulge your sweet tooth with all-time favourites Badam No Sheera and Besan Nu Churma, which are delicacies of the region. 

Republic Day Festivities at Pondichéry Café

January 20 to January 26, 2014

Honouring the nation and rejoicing in its diversity, the hotel will observe a week-long festivity at Pondichéry Café, the all-day dining restaurant. Experience the true legacy of India with the most popular and mouth-watering selections from each region through the week and join in the festivity on Republic Day, 26th January to live each culture concurrently.

  • January 20th: Feast on the magnificent dishes of Andhra Pradesh. The menu includes Bangala Dumpa Masala, Bendakai Pulusu, Kodi Rasam,  Venchina Mamsam, Royyala Vepudu and more.
  • January 21st: Indulge in the aromatic and rich Goan Cuisine. The menu includes tantalizing Pomfret Reichado,  Mutton Xacuti, Yam Masala, Batata Doce Picante, live stations of Konkani snacks stir fried and Coconut filled crepes. Desserts include the traditional Bebinca, Banana and Coconut Cake and more.
  • January 22nd:  The menu will serve the cuisine of Central India including Murg Bemisaal, Yakhni Shorba, Jhinga Dum Sunheri, Dum Aloo Bharwan, Kaliyan Paneeri, Gucchi Mutter, Gosht Korma Biryani, Subz Dum Deg Biryani, and Seviyan Ka Mazzafar, Phirni and more for desserts.
  • January 23rd: The menu will have southern flavours of Tamil Nadu such as Settu Soup, Potato Kara Karry, Vella Poondu Kozhambu and Kai Khormawhich is  diced vegetables in a traditional coconut gravy and south Indian spices served with steamed or tamarind rice. Non vegetarians can enjoy the spread inclusive of Nandu Masala – roasted crabs marinated with finely ground spices, Meen Kozhambu, Kola Urundai Kozhambu as well as relish the well known sweet delicacy Vathalappam.
  • January 24th:  Guests will get a slice of Punjab in very own Mumbai with Machli Amritsari, Chaas, Bhatte Da Murg, Sarson ka Saag and Makai ki Roti, Paneer Tikka, Vegetable Makhni. Live stations will feature Chana Bhature and the desserts will include delightful Moti Choor ke Ladoo, Kheer and many more tantalizing dishes.
  • January 25th: Western flavours of Maharashtra and Gujarat will welcome the diners on this day. One can chose from Bombil Karri, Mutton Kohlapuri, Bharela Kekda to Oondhyu, Bhindi Sambaria, Vaalacha Dalimbya, Tendli Chi Sukhi Bhaji or simply relish delicious Bhajiyas and Mumbai Chowpatty chat at the live counters.
  • January 26th Republic Day Sunday Brunch: Sofitel Mumbai BKC will bring India to life with its phenomenal cookery. The brunch menu will include mixed flavours from the country to pay a tribute to the ‘The Land of Spices’. The menu will include favourites from Goa to Bengal, Gujarat to Punjab, Hyderabad to Awadhi, Andhra Pradesh to Tamil Nadu with live cooking stations, a variety of desserts and much more.

The Hotel has also organized a 50% discount to all defense personnel on the special day to salute their courage and honour their bravery.
