New Delhi, 8th August, 2014: The Beer Café,India’s largest beer chain has been on a remarkable journey since its first outlet started pouring 2 years back. The Beer Café introduced its impressive food menu at its flagship outlet The Beer Café- BIGGIE in Connaught Place.
The transformed menu, designed by renowned chef SabyasachiGorai, is steering towards quality sourced, fresh local ingredients and simple fuss free dishes. While their presentation will be an aesthetic delight, the flavours will be equally tantalizing.
The well-crafted menu comprises international as well as regional cuisine with a generous dose of comfort food. Drawing inspiration from classic movies and songs some of the dishes have very quirky names- treat yourself to ‘Beer Bites’ that include a Chicken Run (The Beer Café’s signature BBQ chicken wings), Hollow Man (Crunchy summer vegetables stuffed rice paper rolls) or a TirchiTopiwale (stuffed mushrooms).
Moving on to signature Tacos and scrumptious thin crust Pizzas that are made of fresh, hand tossed dough. The menu also has an array of main course that consists of Gourmet Sausage Platter, Australian Wok Tossed Noodles, succulent Burgers, Beer battered fish and lots more! Making a debut are some delightful deserts such as Tiramisu and Citrus beer pudding!
Explaining his take on the menu, Chef Sabyasachi (Saby) said, “It’s a great, distinctive menu created keeping in mind the target audience of The Beer Café. It was definitely a challenge to design such interesting dishes. We put in a lot of thought into everything from the basic ingredients to the names and presentation of the dishes. Infact, we’ve avoided the whole white platter look and handpicked tableware from DilliHaat and Chor Bazaar so guests have an enjoyable time.”
Rahul Singh, Founder & CEO, The Beer Caféadded, “We are known to be the best in beer. We wanted to strengthen the food segment for a while now. The time has come to transform the food offering. Incorporating feedback from our valued guests, we had Chef Saby completely revamp the food for us. Infact, our food menu will be customised for every outlet depending on the popular cuisine in that area. We aim to delight our guests, by offering an array of international and modern Indian dishes that will pair fabulously with their favourite brews.”
The new menu was introduced in a classic style with the culinary maestro chef Sabysaachi tossing his favourite recipes Beer chicken Vindaloo, served with savoury beer crepes and Banana Beeramisu (which is tiramisu made with Beer and bananas).
Dining at The Beer Café is set to be an even more memorable experience!
