Kafe Fontana has put together Bengali delicacies inspired from the temples of Bengal and Orissa with an auspicious menu to celebrate Durga Puja at Taj Palace, New Delhi. And I am here to taste the offerings.
The festival is on from 29th September to 3rd October 2014 for lunch and dinner serving three thalis – Veg Thali (Rs 1950), Non-Veg Thali (Rs 2250), and Seafood Thali (Rs 2750). While all thalis have the taste of home and are tasty, I especially like the Seafood Thali for some of the best paturi maach (mustard marinated fish wrapped in banana leaf) that I have had. To tickle your taste buds, here is a peak at what each of the thalis has.
