After formally launching their new international collection of wines recently, Fratelli Wines showcased the same at Le Bistro Du Parc.
The cosy event featured an intimate guest list that included mainly French expats, and “friends of the Bistro”, as the charming owner, Naina, described them. The Bistro terrace, nippy November evening, soulful jazz and delicious treats prepared live by Head Chef Alexis made for the perfect setting to savour the wines.
Offering a varied choice of grapes and price ranges, the six imported wines include two labels each being imported from Chile (Viña Edmara), Portugal (Cintilla) and Italy (Il Casone Pinot Grigio and Casa Sola Chianti Classico). The wines are priced between Rs. 1600 – 3600 and will be available in Delhi, Haryana, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Goa to begin with.
As the evening progressed, the appetisers like pan-fried calamari, canapés and risotto balls gave way to sweet crepes. And catching the mood of the party, the DJ started belting out ‘80s hits to which some guests were happy to shake a leg.
