Most of us would have ordered food to be delivered at home after a long day, with little or no energy left to cook. A tasty, flavorful biryani is a great solution, now available on your smartphone.
No longer do you have to open and pour runny, oily food from plastic packets into plates that makes one feel sorry for oneself.
Charcoal Biryani offers excellent ready to eat (and warm) biryanis (Veg and Non-Veg) that are served in easy to eat sealed containers, and come with yogurt, a plastic spoon and fork, and a paper napkin. The box is beautifully designed with an inviting picture of the biryani inside. The mood is set even before you open the box, which is quite refreshing in the food delivery space.
I tried the Paneer Makhani Biryani, the Vegetable and Paneer Biryani in the vegetarian selection. The dishes were fresh, warm, and very tasty. The mix is quite different from a regular biryani, which is usually very much like fried rice. The rice was good quality basmati, well cooked, free flowing and had a fresh vegetable mix in the center.
I then tried the Lamb Biryani, Afgani Chicken Tikka Biryani and Butter Chicken Biryani. The biryani was cooked beautifully with tasty chicken mix at the center. I highly recommend the Afgani Chicken Tikka Biryani and the Lamb Biryani to the hard core Non Vegetarians, as both dishes were quite tasty.
Charcoal Biryani supplies to the suburbs and some other parts of town including Colaba, Lower Parel, BKC, Pali Hill, Dadar, 7 Bunglows, Malad, and Powai.
So go ahead and try the app the next time you are looking to have a comfortable biryani at your home or work place.
