The Facebook community of Beer Buddies took the onus on themselves to find the best butter chicken in Delhi-NCR. The group of food and drink enthusiast went to almost all the recommendations they received on their group as a team, paying for each meal from their pocket and rating each eatery on a very comprehensive list of important features that included Chicken Size/Meat on Bone, Chicken Roast/Smokiness, Chicken Taste/Chewy, Gravy Consistency, Color & Presentation, Gravy Creamy to Sour to Sweet – Ratio, Gravy Salt & Spiciness, Taste Chicken + Gravy, Overall Hygiene & Cleanliness and last but not the least ‘Overall Quantity v/s Price’. The group led by Rajeev Gulati took almost a month and spent over Rs40,000 for the group to complete the hunt.

I am sure these results will not only bring shocks and surprises for many but will raise lot many eyebrows. Some of the die-hard fan following restaurants have toppled and some dark horses have emerged – but that was the entire purpose of this hunt, to evaluate the best butter chicken in Delhi and that too with most uniform methodology.
