Chef Ollie Dabbous and mixologist Oskar Kinberg, co-owners of the Michelin-starred Dabbous, are to introduce their inimitable skills to India’s vibrant capital as they head off for a four day residency at The Lalit New Delhi from 29th September until 2nd October.
Among the highlights will be a dinner at the hotel’s acclaimed pan Indian restaurant, Baluchi, featuring bespoke dishes by Ollie that will combine contemporary London creations with local flavours, and a ticketed event at Kitty Su (the only Indian club to be featured in DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs), during which Oskar will showcase some of his signature cocktails.
The Group has eleven 5-star hotels, palaces and resorts throughout India. However the residency will also introduce international audiences to the Baluchi concept that will be an integral part of The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group’s first overseas hotel, The Lalit London, set to open later this year.
Said Ollie Dabbous, “We are very excited to be travelling to The Lalit New Delhi later this month. It is a wonderful opportunity to show a new audience what we do and an honour to prepare dishes and cocktails for both foodies and dignitaries alike. Both myself and Oskar are looking forward to incorporating local ingredients into our recipes.”
Added Keshav Suri, executive director of The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, “We are honoured to be associated with two of the leading figures on the London hospitality scene. As well as consolidating our position as one of Delhi’s leading foodie destinations, this residency will also serve as a curtain raiser for our activities in London later this year.”
