Introduces of a whole new range of tantalizing Chinese sauces to the B2B customer
New Delhi, March 18, 2014 – Del Monte, a leading brand in processed food and beverages, a JV between Bharti Enterprises and Del Monte Pacific Ltd (DMPL) participated in Aahar 2014, the largest annual International Food and Hospitality fiesta in India. In its sixth year of participation at Aahar, Del Monte reinforced the brand’s commitment towards the fast growing B2B segment by adding a wide array of high quality food products and ingredients focused at catering to the needs of multi cuisine restaurants.

Highlighting this year’s theme- ‘Food Solutions across Courses’ the plush Del Monte stall was modeled on the lines of a self service restaurant showcasing its diverse food solutions across all courses- appetizers, main course and desserts. This year’s highlight was the launch of Del Monte’s Chinese Range of sauces bringing out the oriental flavors of China to the food festival, which includes Red Chili Sauce, Schezwan Sauce, Green Chili Sauce, Green Chili Vinegar, Red Chili Garlic Vinegar, Sweet Chilli Sauce, Oriental Sauce and Natural Vinegar that would enable restaurateurs to toss up authentic delicious Chinese dishes for their patrons.
Commenting on Del Monte’s foray into the Chinese cuisine segment, Mr. Yogesh Bellani, CEO, FieldFresh Foods Pvt. The visitors to the stall were taken on a unique gastronomical journey with Del Monte’s highly popular sampling counter and uniquely crafted menu. The Chefs tossed up a variety of appetizing dishes to the delight of the visitors while demonstrating the varied uses of Del Monte’s extensive food range.
The appetizer section included wraps and rolls made with the delectable range of Del Monte Dips and Spreads, Nachos with Salsa, French Fries accompanied with Sauces. Indulging the sweet tooth of Indian food connoisseur, Del Monte also sampled its range of new dessert sauces with ice cream and scrumptious canned fruits adding a twist to everyday desserts.
Aahar 2014, held between March 10th-14th, 2014 proved to be a huge success bringing overseas and Indian buyers, importers, wholesalers and suppliers of food, hoteliers, trade delegations, business houses and policy-makers on a common platform.
